Community Groups

Serving communities together

Transform aims to create positive systematic impact by partnering with people and the environment to create a better world.

  • Is your community facing a new challenge?
  • Do different elements of your community need to come together in a new way?
  • Is your community dreaming about reinventing itself?

Have you ever noticed that if you sit down with another human being that often you end up finding out how much you have in common rather than what huge differences exist? We are all born to serve our communities and we need to do that together.

To co-create better tomorrows we need to have conversations in order to learn about our aspirations and the possibilities that reside in our midst. What talents and skills are hidden among us? What great thoughts are waiting to emerge to become new movements, businesses, projects?

How it works

Transform brings a number of different tools and methodologies into community conversations.

The conversations are often designed using the frameworks of the Art of Hosting community. There are several methodologies practiced under the Art of Hosting umbrella that range from Appreciative Inquiry to World Café. The Flow Game may also play a part in our journey.

Careful planning and attention to desired outcomes will steer Transform to the most appropriate tool. Transform helps small and large groups work together to find a desired new reality that previously may not have been apparent.

“Pamela has worked with the Diocese in a number of ways over the years.  She has been a sounding board for me as I guide the diocese.  She has also facilitated several meetings.  She guided our clericus meeting at a time when relationships were strained and worked calmly and deeply with us to uncover hidden emotions and uncharted challenges.  Her gentle hand during a particularly difficult time was welcomed and we ended our session with a Trust Walk which enabled us to find common ground on which to stand.  She has incorporated Circle Practice, World Café and elements of Open Space Technology into other meetings for the Synod and Church Society.  Each time participants have found new opportunities to co-create our journey forward with God’s blessings. Pamela creates and holds space for others with trust, integrity and openness and gently encourages organisations to new and exciting places.”

- The Right Revd. Nicholas B. B. Dill, Bishop of the Anglican Church of Bermuda
